Youth Soccer League
The Belle Chasse Y’s Soccer program encourages healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participating over winning, and team building over individual glorification. This program has no tryouts and everyone is welcome.
Soccer is for girls and boys ages 3-14.
3-4 Year Olds: Will practice once a week with the choice of Tuesday or Wednesday at 4:30, 5:30, or 6:30PM. Practices will last 45 minutes to an hour. Players will practice fundamentals and learn the game of soccer with games throughout the season. After games start there will be no practices, only games. This is subject to change depending on registration numbers. Games will be played throughout the week nights and Saturday mornings.
5-14 Year Olds: This year will run a little differently than past years. All age groups will start with two practices a week either Mondays & Wednesdays -OR- Tuesdays & Thursdays. AFTER games start we will go to 1 practice a week and 2 games a week. March 13-18 will be used for a make up week IF necessary. Games will be played throughout the week nights and Saturday mornings.
Cleats are recommended but not required. Please make sure they do not have a center front spike on bottom. Shin guards will be required for the safety of children.
There will be no soccer February 21, 22, 27, 28, March 1-8 due to Mardi Gras festivities.

7-8 Year Olds
