Belle Chasse Babysitting Certification
This course offers a great opportunity for students aged 11 and up who want to learn the key skills necessary for babysitting. Participants will acquire valuable knowledge on how to care for children safely and effectively, including topics like age-appropriate activities, basic behavior management, and important communication techniques for interacting with both kids and parents.
The course also provides a thorough first aid certification from the American Red Cross, ensuring students are prepared to handle minor injuries and emergencies with confidence. This certification not only boosts a babysitter’s credibility but also gives parents peace of mind.

Belle Chasse Community CPR & First Aid Training
This CPR training is offered to members of the community!
REQUIRED online pre work will be sent out 1 week prior to the start of the course. The pre work will take 1-2 hours and after you finish, you must print out and present the completed certificate at the in person course.
This program will offer a Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification that helps keep community professionals prepared and ready to respond as they encounter life-threatening emergencies. You will learn how to provide CPR, respond to choking & airway emergencies and provide basic first aid. You will receive a certification that is valid for 2 years through the Red Cross.
Our Class Dates are as follows:
- Monday, November 17th, 2025 – 5:30-7:30pm
- Monday, December 15th, 2025 – 5:30-7:30pm
